Happy New Year! I became a “Mrs.” at the start of this year and one of my favorite parts of my wedding was the live music. My husband and I involved a lot of our friends in the ceremony and the reception. We are truly lucky to know such talented people! At the ceremony, we had a classical trio with clarinet, violin and cello. Their sound resonated within the church beautifully and kept the guests entertained as I arrived with my bridesmaids twenty minutes late! I guess I was excused since it was MY day.

At the reception, Eugene’s long-time friend, Gino Munoz, of Night Owl Productions, put together a live band. There’s nothing better than hearing a really great singer create the mood for a moment like dancing with my new husband to Van Morrison’s “Crazy Love.” Or dancing with my Father to “La Vie en Rose.”  Live music creates a feeling that words cannot describe, but I think everyone agrees that it is magical and deeply personal.

Me with my new husband!
