I ended last month’s cruise to the Caribbean with a few days in New Orleans. I have always wanted to go since hearing about its amazing contribution to music in Jazz History class. So much mystery surrounds this city and I learned so much about its past while taking some walking tours of the cemetery and haunted locations. What an amazing place!
We arrived on Easter and found ourselves in the middle of the Easter parade.

I’ve never heard as much live music on the streets, over-flowing from bars and restaurants as I heard in New Orleans. I had a great time learning about the city’s history and enjoying its food and music.
